#ReimagineSac: Why Never Board is All About the Neighborhood

For seven years and counting, creative agency Never Board has leaned into the dynamic neighborhood along Del Paso Boulevard. Originally established in 2005, Never Board consists of artists, designers, printers, painters, and product creators who work in a number of different industries.

“Never Board has been working on Del Paso Boulevard since 2014 and has done work with most of our neighbors in one way or another,” said co-owner Kristen “Ten” Blair. “Either by designing, website support, marketing, consulting, printing, or painting murals on their buildings.”

The business is rooted in Sacramento, and their Street Art Store on Del Paso Boulevard has only deepened their roots among the local community. As the Boulevard neighborhood evolves, the team at Never Board works on new products and facets of the business, hoping to share those with more Sacramento locals.

“In our physical space, we’re excited for growth in our business corridor on Del Paso Boulevard with new and different businesses, as well as housing opportunities opening in North Sacramento as well,” Kristen said. “Hopefully this will bring more people to those businesses.”

Looking ahead, the businessowner hopes to spread the lively neighborhood energy of the Boulevard as the business grows.

“Never Board will always have something here on Del Paso Boulevard, but we hope to have much more of an impact the more we grow. We have such love for this place and Sacramento as a whole, we can’t see not continuing to help it in its growth in the future however we can,” Kristen shared. “We are hopeful to grow and expand our reach with the amount of people we can hire, products we can offer, different problems we can solve, and the great things we can create.”
