David Santiago’s 4GPM Treats Clients and Team Like Family Despite Pandemic

4 Guys Print & Mail (4GPM) was founded by David Santiago in 2016. The company helps businesses deliver their marketing messages or special advertising via direct mail and print ads. 4GPM is housed in a 25,000 square foot facility filled with state-of-the-art machinery, which enables them to produce everything in-house. Additionally, 4GPM works with their clients through the creative process, from design to delivery, for every project to ensure top quality and satisfaction.

Ever since he was 18, David Santiago knew he wanted to own his own business. He worked many jobs to provide for his family, but when his last job suddenly closed down, he finally took a chance and started his own business. He pitched his business idea to his mother-in-law, and to his surprise, she was quick to accept it. With the support from her and others, David used his accumulated experience to get things running.

The reality between owning your own business and dreaming of it narrows down to one thing: taking action. David had the confidence to follow his gut and go for his goals. He didn’t let doubt stop him, nor did he let mistakes weigh him down. Instead, he treated them as valuable lessons and continuously learned from his experiences.

David’s advice to new business owners is:

“Have confidence, be ready for the long haul, build healthy relationships, be accountable, and make decisions based on integrity and respect.”

To David, doing business in 2020 calls for honesty, respect, and transparency. The current pandemic has slowed down businesses and budgets down everywhere. True to his values in building healthy relationships, David has been reaching out to all his clients over the phone to check in with them. He has also been communicative with his team of 15 employees to keep them aware of the business situation. 4GPM will be keeping their doors open for business and has been actively sanitizing and practicing safe social distancing among the team and their clientele.

David and his team wants people to know that they are a family-oriented business who treat clientele as an extended family. They firmly believe that “their success is our success” and will work together on a united front.
