5th Annual AAPI Night Market Returns to Capitol Mall on May 15 with 40+ Vendors, Cultural Performances, and Headliner UMI

Sacramento, CA (February 24, 2026) — The Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the return of the 5th Annual AAPI Night Market, taking place on Friday, May 15 from 5–10 PM at Capitol Mall.

Now in its fifth year, the AAPI Night Market has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated cultural celebrations, spotlighting over 40 local AAPI-owned food and retail vendors, live music, cultural performances, art installations, and community activations.

Headlining this year’s celebration is UMI, the genre-defying singer, songwriter, and sonic healer whose sound blends R&B, neo-soul, and folk. Born and raised in Seattle to a multicultural and musically inclined family, UMI began sharing acoustic songs and covers on SoundCloud during high school and has since emerged as a rising musical force known for her ethereal vocals and introspective artistry.

The 2026 music lineup also features:

  • SOOSH! – A DJ, music curator, and producer known for his open-format, turntablist style and work with the hellagoodcompany Arts & Entertainment Collective. A Northern California staple, he formerly hosted a nightly show on Hot 103.5 and is currently involved with Hyphy House.
  • DJ Umami – Bay Area–born and based, DJ Umami is currently a resident DJ for the San Francisco Giants and previously served as a Golden State Warriors DJ from 2012–2021. Known for her vibrant energy and unmistakable flavor behind the decks, she has been a fixture in the San Francisco music scene since 2008.
  • BASI VIBE – BASI VIBE is an Indigenous & Filipino Neo-Soul/R&B artist from Sacramento, CA—raised on staples like D’Angelo, Frank Ocean and Musiq Soulchild. He brings a nuanced and highly meticulous approach to his artistic expression. Like smoke in the air, his percussive, mesmerizing croons glide across a backdrop of jazz-infused chord progressions and spacey, soulful production.

In addition to live performances, attendees can expect immersive art installations, cultural acts, family-friendly experiences, and a diverse lineup of local food vendors representing flavors from across the Asian Pacific diaspora.

Early bird tickets have officially sold out. For those who missed early access, presale tickets for general admission and VIP will be available February 27–March 4. General sale will be available starting March 5.
